• Technical information: our service providers may process information such as your IP address, device type, request time, and basic diagnostic or security data needed to operate, protect, and troubleshoot the service.

• Feedback: if you choose to send feedback or report a result, we process the information you submit with that report.

We use information only to:

• provide text rewriting, analysis, and related app features;

• maintain security, prevent abuse, and enforce usage limits;

• diagnose problems and improve the reliability and quality of MySideKik; and

• respond to support, privacy, or legal requests.

When an AI-powered feature is used, the message text and selected mode may be sent securely to our backend and to OpenAI to generate the requested result. Hosting, infrastructure, and diagnostic providers may also process limited technical data on our behalf. These providers are permitted to process information only to deliver their services to us and are subject to their own security and privacy obligations.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your message content for targeted advertising. We share information only with service providers as described above, when you direct us to share it, when required by law, or when necessary to protect users, the public, or our rights.

If you choose the text-message action, MySideKik opens your device's messaging app with the rewritten text. You decide whether to edit, address, and send that message. The receiving app and mobile carrier handle it under their own privacy practices.

MySideKik does not require an account. Drafts and results shown in the app are kept on your device only for the current app session unless a feature clearly tells you otherwise. Server and service-provider records may be retained for the limited time needed to fulfill requests, maintain security, troubleshoot failures, comply with law, and resolve disputes. We delete or de-identify information when it is no longer needed for those purposes.

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, including encrypted network connections where supported. No method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Do not enter passwords, payment-card details, government identification numbers, or other information you do not want processed.

You can avoid processing message content by not submitting it. You can clear content shown in the app or close the app to end the current session. Because MySideKik does not require an account, we may be unable to identify server records as belonging to you. You may nevertheless contact us through the developer contact listed on the MySideKik Google Play page to ask a privacy question or request access, correction, or deletion where applicable.

MySideKik is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us through the developer contact listed on Google Play so we can review and delete it where appropriate.

We may update this Privacy Policy as MySideKik changes. We will post the revised policy at this URL and update the date above. Material changes will be communicated in the app or by another appropriate method when required.
